CALABARZON (Region IV-A) emerged victorious as the overall champion at the recently concluded 2024 National Festival of Talents (NFOT) at the Enan Chiong Activity Center on July 11.

Central Luzon (Region III) secured the first runner-up position, followed by Davao Region (Region XI) as the second runner-up. Bicol Region (Region V) and the National Capital Region (NCR) rounded out the top placements as third and fourth runner-ups, respectively.

Hosted by the Department of Education’s Division of Naga City at Cebu, the NFOT ran from July 8 to 11.  

The theme, “Galing, Talino, at Husay ng mga Batang Makabansa sa Diwa ng MATATAG na Adhika,” was attended by around 2,000 students and teachers from different regions of the country. 

The event featured eight categories that tested students’ abilities in various fields.

The Technolympics showcase their skills in Technology and Livelihood Education (TLE), Technical-Vocational Education (TVE), and Technical-Vocational Livelihood (TVL),

Other categories comprise Sining Tanghalan (Music and Arts), Population Development (Social Studies), READ-A-THON (English and Filipino) for language skills, Lingo Stars (Special Program in Foreign Language), Musabaqah (Madrasah Education Program), SNEd Expo (Special Needs Education), and STEMazing (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics).

The NFOT is an annual event that allows students to display their talents and hone their skills across different disciplines.
