During the Senate hearing on Sept. 24, Senator JV Ejercito asked Guo, also known as Guo Hua Ping to elaborate her allegations regarding POGO.

“Hindi po ako mastermind. Masasabi ko po ay isa po akong victim,” (I am not a mastermind. I can say I am a victim), Guo responded.

Guo reiterated that if she had any contributions to POGO in any way, it was only because she is a ‘helpful person’; she emphasized that she is not guilty.

"Your honor, I think sa tagal po ng investigation alam na rin po ng committee po, especially chaired by our Madam Chair, who’s really at the back of everything po,” she told them.

“Willing ka bang sabihin ‘yung most guilty na sinasabi mo?” Ejercito questioned.

Ejercito encouraged Guo to hold an executive meeting where they could discuss confidentially, and she might drop the identities of the big bosses, or the mastermins behind this controversy.

The senator then emphasized that if she truly was just a victim, she should speak up and help others who were victimized by the illegal activities linked to POGO, such as human trafficking and money laundering.

“May pagkakataon ka pang sabihin kung sinuman ang talagang nasa likuran. Kasi kung sabi mo ikaw ay biktima, maawa rin tayo sa naging biktima ng Pogo,” Ejercito said, and Guo did not hesitate to reply “yes.”

A senate executive session was conducted, and the disclosure of information was confidential.

The senate holds executive sessions or a closed-door meeting to discuss confidential and controversial issues, where outsiders are not welcome, and nothing must be recorded.

Guo faced allegations of being a Chinese spy, by having fake documents and identity, and is accused of being involved in illegal gaming operations, and criminal activities.

On Sept. 5, it was recently proclaimed that she was deported from Indonesia after escaping the Philippines, the people who helped her are still unknown.
