Karl Eldrew Yulo, the younger brother of two-time Olympian Carlos Yulo leaped his way into the final rounds, qualifying for all-around, floor exercise, vault, and horizontal bar at the 3rd Artistic Gymnastics Junior World Championships in Manila, Nov. 21.
Yulo secured a spot in the all-around finals after finishing 15th with a total score of 78.332, placing him among the top 24 competitors.
He posted his strongest result in the floor exercise, where he placed second with a 14.233.
He also scored 13.750 for fifth in vault and 13.700 for seventh in horizontal bar.
The boys’ all-around finals is set on Saturday, Nov. 22, while the apparatus finals will be held on Nov. 23 and Nov. 24.
