Calabarzon still Overall Best Performing Region in NSPC 2023, bags 9th consecutive championship win

As the week-long commencement of the 2023 National Schools Press Conference (NSPC) ends, the top-performing campus journalists and regions have been hailed today, July 20, in Cagayan de Oro City.

Region 4A – Calabarzon stayed true to its NSPC 2023 hashtag #OwntheNinth after being awarded as the Overall Top Performing Region and claiming its ninth consecutive championship victory.

Meanwhile, Region 11 – Davao Region claimed the Second Top Performing Region, and Bicol Region’s win as the Third Top Performing Region completed the Top 3.

The National Capital Region also earned a place in the roster after coming in as the Fourth Top Performing Region, as well as Caraga Region finishing the top 5.

On the other hand, winners for the individual and group categories have been awarded, with the full list of categories and winners below:

The best campus journalists from all 17 regions of the Philippines participate annually in what is called the “Olympics of Philippine Campus Journalism” where they fight for the top spot in each category for the individual and group competitions.
