
Filipino medalists from the recently concluded 3rd Asian Youth Games in Manama, Bahrain, are set to receive cash incentives and brand new iPhone 17 units as rewards for their victories, Nov. 3.
The Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) announced that gold medalists will each receive ₱500,000, while silver and bronze medalists will get ₱300,000 and ₱100,000, respectively, under Republic Act 10699, also known as the National Athletes and Coaches Benefits and Incentives Act.
Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) will also give each medalist additional cash incentives, half of the PSC’s prize amount along with an iPhone 17.
Team Philippines finished 12th overall in the Games after collecting seven gold, seven silver, and 10 bronze medals.
