Explained PH, The Josenian Premier partner for JournQuest; Cebu leg set on Aug. 1

Explained PH, in partnership with the Josenian Premier (TJP), will bring JournQuest, a free campus journalism caravan to Cebu City on Aug. 1 at the University of San Jose Recoletos – Basak Campus, following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding last July 17. 

The partnership was finalized between TJP and Explained PH through Senior High School Officer-In-Charge Herben Tautho and Student Activity Program Coordinator Zyra Marie Arce, together with Explained PH Associate Editor Daiven Monforte, Cebu Bureau Chief Alleah Rubia, and Staffer Mitz Gabutan.

JournQuest aims to equip campus journalists across the country with the knowledge and skills needed to practice responsible, ethical, and impactful journalism.

The caravan will feature learning sessions led by journalists and media practitioners, giving opportunities for the participants to strengthen their reporting, writing, and storytelling skills while connecting with other student journalists. 

Cebu city serves as the last stop of the nationwide caravan after Manila and Davao.

The registration for JournQuest is now open on a first-come, first-served basis due to limited seating capacity.
