Christmas— a very special and magical time for all of us as we celebrate the birth of our savior Jesus Christ. It’s in these moments where we feel comfortable and happy knowing that we are surrounded by the people we love the most.
We all have our “magical” moments during this season. My Christmas memories are all very memorable and important, but one still lingers in my mind. This happened years ago. I remember before— during Christmas eve, my whole family would gather in one house to celebrate the occasion together. Our Moms would cook meals that brought comfort, Dads would set up firecrackers, and me and my cousins would stay up late at night watching movies and eating nonstop. We would wait until midnight to watch the fireworks lit up the sky as everyone around would greet a “Merry Christmas”.
This season is not only about celebrating. We also gave help to those who needs it. This act of kindness warmed my heart making that Christmas truly memorable.
I remember the happy sounds we made back then— all the laughs, cheers, and good memories we made. This memory became a proof to me that showing up matters and celebrating it with the people you love makes it even more important.
Yes, Christmas still is very important to me— but somehow feels different. How I wish I could go back in time to feel that spirit again. A Christmas where everyone was complete and happy. A Christmas which truly felt like an important and magical season.
