Excitement filled the halls and walkways of Adamson University as the Senior High School community kicked off the academic year with AdUventure: From Harbors to Horizons, the Annual Welcome Assembly 2026. Incoming Grade 11 students gathered at the JP Quadrangle for the Welcome Walk to begin their journey as Adamsonians before heading to the ST Quadrangle, where the Welcome Assembly and Welcome Fair were held. The entire morning was designed to welcome, engage, and familiarize them with Adamson University’s student life and recognized student organizations. Organized by the Student Activities Office (SAO) and co-presented by the Adamson University Senior High School Supreme Student Government (AdU-SHS SSG), the event marked the official welcome of the newest batch of Adamsonians.
As the students begin entering a new significant chapter in their lives, they are reminded that every expedition will always come with its own challenges. The theme captures the idea of voyaging toward new opportunities, encouraging students to embark on their journey with curiosity and enthusiasm despite these hindrances. Like a ship on the high seas, each challenge, problem, and conflict can help students grow and learn from setbacks.
Exploring the Campus, One Stop at a Time
A major highlight of the event was the Welcome Walk, where students navigated various buildings of Adamson University to familiarize themselves with their surroundings. Along the route, they were greeted and given souvenirs by student leaders, volunteers, and representatives from different organizations, who enthusiastically welcomed their fellow juniors and helped prepare them for their first journey as Adamsonians. Through this activity, the juniors were provided with the opportunity to become familiar with the environment that they would soon call hom
Their journey continued through organization booths and student-led activities prepared by recognized student organizations. Each booth offered a unique yet effective introduction to its organization and area of specialization, allowing students to meet groups that shared their interests and to explore many opportunities beyond the classroom and throughout the university. More importantly, students were encouraged to discover communities where they could grow, contribute, and belong.
The Beginning of Something Greater
Beyond introducing facilities and organizations, AdUventure 2026 aimed to set a tone for the school year by creating meaningful connections among students. It served as a reminder that although the new batch of Baby Falcons is facing a new curriculum, the department and the university are determined to make their stay meaningful and ensure that their journey sails smoothly. The event also fostered a welcoming community that would carry students through the school year, providing enough space for everyone to form a support system that would serve as every Klasmeyt’s anchor in the fast-paced sail.
More than a symbolic welcome, the annual Welcome Walk also featured engaging performances, interactive segments, and participation games held throughout the day. It served as a celebration of a fresh start for new students and the beginning of their senior high school journey, creating lasting memories through fleeting moments that would leave a lasting impact.
The Journey Continues
As the event came to a close, the excitement across the campus remains evident. The event, organized by senior students, was designed to be as memorable as their first day in the university, following the example of those who came before them. More importantly, it served as the first step toward discovering new passions, building lifelong friendships, and creating their meaningful stories within the university.
The success of the Welcome Assembly was made possible through the collective efforts of student leaders, volunteers, university offices, sponsors, media partners, and recognized student organizations. Their dedication ensured that the newest members of the Adamsonian community were welcomed not only with enthusiasm but also with a genuine sense of belonging.
As the newest Klasmeyts move forward into the academic year, they carry with them the lessons, memories, and connections formed during AdUventure 2026—ready to chart their own course and explore the horizons ahead.
